How Do We De-Winterize Your RV?

Flush all antifreeze from the water lines: The main step to getting your RV ready for the Spring/Summer/Fall season is to ensure the antifreeze in your water lines is completely flushed out, except the water heater which we don’t add this to, and also to drain all of the holding tanks. We do this by adding fresh water to the lines and flushing them until all antifreeze is removed.
At the same time, we check the pressure to ensure there are no leaks or issues that need attention, and also sanitize the water system to remove mold or bacteria so you can be confident of clean water throughout your RV.

• Check all fluid levels and top up as required
• Connect lights and verify all lights are working
• Check all hydraulics, ensure any slideouts open and close and fluid is clean and full
• Check awnings for damage and correct function
• Run generator and test voltage, performance
• Test fridge and other appliances for correct function
• Inspect exterior such as roof for signs of wear or damage that needs repair to prevent leaks
• Check tire pressure and quality of tread for abnormal wear or damage
• Check propane tanks for age and wear, correct function
